About Lecya Santiago

I'm Lecya. I have been writing since I was young, from stories about being trapped in school to fake newspaper columns; I've kept this passion up and continued by participating in my university newspaper.

I am a 21 year old creative studying Journalism with a minor in Spanish. I'm a dedicated freelance writer, content creation advisor, and journalist in Southern California. I used to run a radio program called, "Worldwide Estrellas" through KCR College Radio at San Diego State University. I write for The Daily Aztec, SDSU's college newspaper.

I initially participated in my high school newspaper, Cavalcade, for two years. I managed a lead host and editor role for my discontinued podcast, Head Empty, Intrusive Thoughts. I also maintained the Instagram pages of both my radio program and the podcast.

I'm in my fourth year of college at San Diego State University. I'm working on my radio program and expanding my writing skills by maintaining a blog alongside article writing. I want to make the public go, "Wow."

As a self-taught social media advisor, I've helped creators gain hundreds of followers, providing them with a successful path. I have worked on my craft since I was young, starting to write online works in 2017. I maintain that same blog to this day. By now, I've amassed over 60,000+ readers on all my individual works, with a combined following of 2.5k enthusiasts.
